The Mission of Mission Montessori Academy is to create opportunities for success through use of the Montessori curriculum to enable students to develop strategies, to acquire knowledge, skills, and values needed to become self-reliant citizens.

The Mission of Mission Montessori Academy’s Middle Years Program is to provide the most natural and life supporting environment for the child, supporting and celebrating the unique greatness that is within each child, observing the child and continually adapting the environment to support the fulfillment of the child’s greatest potential physically, intellectually, emotionally and spiritually.

Vision

To promote the intellectual, emotional, social and physical growth of each child so they are able to achieve their highest potential.
To develop in each child a joy of learning, love of humanity, empathy toward others and personal peace through mindfulness.
To promote social responsibility and civic engagement by modeling awareness, understanding, empowerment and action.
To instill in each child the value of effective communication, problem solving, collaboration, and decision-making in achieving personal, academic and career success.

The 7th and 8th grade students are encouraged to grow and learn in an environment where the staff are highly trained in adolescent development. With a combined class size of under 35, the students begin their day in a “Community Meeting” where the students are empowered to address each other with both compliments and concerns."
